Sony ZX1 becomes world's thinnest TV at 9.9mm thick announced at IFA 2008 and megawhat was there with Katie Scott to take a look
Sony have the crown for the thinnest LCD TV around... currently. At 9.9mm thick, it's ever so pretty, but no pricing yet.
I just had a hands-on and ears-on and pants-in with the Sony KDL-40ZX1, which I declare as the first official superdupercool product to come out at IFA 2008.
Giz AU got to take an up-close look at Sony's new 9.9mm thin ZX1 Series LCD TV. It's so thin because they use a proprietary wireless technology to place all the tuners and visual hardware in a seperate box, which then transmits the image to the TV wirelessly from up to 15 metres away.
