since you made this in 09..how much do you think its price has ran down given some factors like im looking for a 40-42 inch so im assuming north of 700-900 tops? is it really good in terms of top quality HDTV for video games because i wanna link this to my ps3
sciontcdude Says:
im 31 and am ahead of you :D i have a 60hdtv plasma ... and a ps3 and a faster car

I am still struggling with the camera settings. The auto mode is always making things look funky, I haven't mastered the manual settings. It is the camera, not the TV.
redwolf4k Says:
Is it the camera you used to make the review, or is the TV overly blue looking? Is the grayscale color temp set to Cool or somthing? Colors look off.

I have a 64" Sony Bravia XBR9 and there are so many things i dont know how to do like alot of things with the network and im having some trouble not knowing what to do besides watch tv
ReviewGuy1000 Says:
@duework12 Tough question. It really comes down to price. LED is going to be a show piece (until next gen LED comes out.) Do you want to future-proof and look at 3D models? They all look great. Sounds like you are a Sony guy, but make sure you take a peek at the new Samsung 9000 series. I saw that running Avatar and I was floored. I thought Pioneer Kuros were the best, holy %$#@, that new Samsung was insane.

I was wanting to get this TV this week but wouldn't it be better to spend the extra hundred bucks on a 3D TV?

How does the XBR10 differ from the XBR9? Price difference?
ReviewGuy1000 Says:
Thanks a lot.
ReviewGuy1000 Says:
I wish I could review the XBR10. I love that TV. But I can't buy it. If Sony sent me one :-) I'd love to do a review.
ReviewGuy1000 Says:
I'll give it a shot. There is just so many game reviews out there. By the time I play it (and finish) it'd be weeks if not months after the game comes out that'd I'd get to post a review.
ReviewGuy1000 Says:
I can compare this to my family room TV, 70" XBR 60Hz which suffers during close ups of the action. The worst offender has always been motorsports, but since racing is done 4 the season, I could only watch football and hoops. The difference was noticeable. Especially when they go into a tight shot during a football game and it is real-time, not slow-mo. I couldn't tell any difference from viewing my friend's 120Hz TVs.
