Hey SonyConvergineer.... question I have an old KDL32M3000 720p I want to change it for this XBR9...the picture quality will be a lot different ?? because with the PS3 the M3000 produce a great image The things that I dont like are: its not 1080p, no 120 Hz (I cant watch sports on it...my head hurts after a while), 8 bit panel and the damn overscan The XBR9 seems to be the solution for all that problems of my old M3000....
BRAVIAX1 Says:
i love it
SonyConvergineer Says:
The TV has an ethernet jack in the back to connect to your network. If you don't have a connection to your tv and you have cable internet, get a splitter from your cable provider and connect your cable modem and wireless access point under the TV. Then you can have a wired connection. If you have a desktop, buy an inexpensive wireless dongle for that, it's much easier than trying stuff to make the TV connection wireless.
ilordvader Says:
is the Wireless built in to the Tv or we have to buy a gadget for it ?
SonyConvergineer Says:
The Z5100 & XBR9 have more technologies that create better picture quality. BRAVIA Engine 3, works on HD and SD sources. Motionflow 240Hz creates smoother, more detailed pictures. Thee XBR9 has WCG-CCFL backlighting, which gives the best colour of any backlight (except for the XBR8). Finally the XBR9 has a thinner bezel design, improved 4 speaker system. XBR9=Best colour, best design, best sound.
acidius Says:
apart from the motionflow 120 and 8 bit panel is the bravia W series that much different than the Z and XBR line...what features will it not include that the Z and XBR9 have
yaykaboom Says:
is it touch screen?
SonyConvergineer Says:
Picture quality between your grand wega and this BRAVIA would be night and day. Your grand wega could become a great bedroom TV if you have room but you would want the XBR9 for your main home theater!
tipoomaster Says:
How much of a change would going from a KF-50WE620 to a XBR9 make in terms of picture quality?

Well then I did catch up.. really I haven't followed the "latest" within television news. I am sure it is a nice thing to have.. and no sadly I am still stuck with an old CRT. Yeah hence why I haven't gotten into the new modern stuff yet. I do though game on my ps3 using a pc tft screen, widescreen 22" capable of 720p. A true delight
masticina Says:
A television with XMB? Actually why not it hardly sounds like a stupid idea. I mean sure why not add a media player TO your television. Nice idea!
