from what i have seen to get sound you have to got into control pannel and go into sound and then set your tv as the defult....hope that helped

Something I highly disagree with in the video is how he said make the resolution highest possible. Some TV's like mine only works at a specific resolution. Try all different resolutions before giving up :)
