If i had a 3D tv with smart tv connected to my PS3 full 3D 1080p active glasses on a 200hz motion rate tv would 15.8 gbps or 10.2 gbps matter

I sometimes get a green screen, what does that mean. should I get another cable?
obscuresword Says:
lol what's funny is I bought some Shaxon Industry cables for $4.99 and My brother gave me another HDMI cable that was 3 bucks, What I found out is that the ones for about 5 dollars had a thicker coating, .8cm, to the cheaper 3 buck ones at .6cm and you can actually see the difference because the cheaper one showed the copper wire through the cable haha. performance wise there was no difference.
obscuresword Says:
No that is not true even CNET found that if paying more than 10 dollars for a 6 ft cable you are overpaying. And they use cables ranging from $7-12
Nando85ec Says:
@lalaurentide Actually HDMI 1.4 in 3d runs at 1440p. This is why my movies in 3d are played at 1080i@60hz (my cable which is HDMI 1.3c). Just to conclude I'd like to say that the trend is going beyond HD... so this might be a nightmare for real geeks since you will keep buying different versions of cables in order to get the best display supported by your tv set.
The1andonlyBYack Says:
SO watered down.... HDMI IS digital HOWEVER it's still 1s and 0s that need to get to the appropriate spot in the shortest period of time. CHEAP cables will slow that information down because it has a greater path of resistance. And 1.4 spec supports ethernet over HDMI which you can't do with 1.3 or earlier. He needs to do more research...
UnknownEncryption Says:
You didn't cover the flux capacitor.
lalaurentide Says:
Small correction. You need a 1.4 or "high-speed" 1.3 cable for 1080p@60hz 3D in the case of a PS3 console. But overall this video sums it up, with digital you either have a signal or not, loss in signal is easily detectable.

You're an idiot for buying such expensive cables. Do us a favor and remove yourself from the gene pool, because we don't want more little idiots like you running around making more bad decisions like that.
moopMASTER2000Films Says:
People watching will not even notice all the fancy features when engrossed in a film. Do you really pay attention to every crisp detail on the screen when you're engrossed in a movie?
ipodvi Says:
Anyone with a Blu-Ray player that knows how to use it.

Good info for old people.
sourcedecay Says:
I have a funny HDMI cable, but it's not so bad. Sometimes when I'm playing games or watching dvds/blurays on my PS3, the sound will cut out. I just have to turn the TV on and off to fix it. I figure dealing with cheap HDMI cables is better than spending $40 for a 6 foot cable.
lockergnome Says:
- Maybe another video?
TheNewCrysis Says:
You didn't cover HDMI cables that have ethernet support
