this kind of batteries are very damaging to the environment. each one pollutes 190000 liters of water. using them without being responsible of an adequate recycling, is some how so stupid like throwing a bomb.

the lights on the batteries they recommend last about 2 weeks till the batt dies and 'ihearcalling' who or what is already using the name throwie? also these are badass and the unit cost of each is under a doller so go GRL and go throwies!

It is not throwing money away as it is a very portable source of light. Plus, if used properly, LEDs never burn out
