Hey, a quick correction. At 3:09, you say "how," but the subtitles say "who."

at 2:32 it states " light ravels at different speeds along different axes", but isn't the speed of light a constant???

I cannot find the "tylne światła" in the captions ... where exactly is this? Time code?
ra1di Says:
Backlight is a "podświetlenie" in polish, not "tylne światła" :D

If you look up "Privacy monitor hacked from an old LCD Monitor" on Google you will find a tutorial of someone cutting out the front polarizer film in order to reuse it on a pair of glasses instead (so the monitor can be viewed only through the glass) It involves using a metal cutter to allow ripping, and some solvent to remove the remaining glue on the glass. The tutorial "pretends" if the metal cutter is clean, it won't damage the glass. I wouldn't trust this tutorial to work on all models.
engineerguyvideo Says:
I don't think so: They are pretty tightly stuck together.
Brohan43 Says:
I've been trying to figure this out for the longest time. If you have the LCD screen to just the two polarized sheets with the glass in between, is there a way to remove the two very stuck polarized sheets without damaging the glass in between?
