is true 240hz HDTV is what caused a "soap opera" effect which watching a movie feels more like watching a soap and not a movie since movie runs at 24 frame and not 30 frame?

I made a mistake with buying one of these TV's. The first day it was fine. After 2 or 3 weeks, I started noticing a few dead pixels, also the quality wasn't that good either. After that I got an LG LCD and so far, no dead pixels and the quality is much sharper and natural.

Sony LCD is made in korea(^^;; But Sharp LCD is made in Japan! Sharp is best choice!

can someone help me i got a sharp aquos lc32d624 hdtv.first off i can change the channels the only thing i can do is do inputs or stare at the black and white scribbles on channel 2.second i cant set up my ps3 1080p settings with the tv all i hear is audio no picture.

@Thers2006channel I got the top of the line with WiFi and everything (LC-60LE835U). The built in web access is ONLY a link to the Sharp server. You cannot access anything outside of what they want you to access. So I bought the Logitech Revue and use it for full internet access, like Crackle, Amazon Movies, and so on. So the built in web is useless except for Sharp firmware updates.

Smart AV Mode is cool, but on my Quattron, I always use 'Standard' because it's suits my taste better.
